After publishing her first piece of fictional work in a national anthology of poetry at the age of thirteen, C. M. Gray forged a successful career as a journalist for parenting magazines including Babyworld and Babycenter, using her degree in pediatric nursing to write over 1000 features and educational articles for parents and children.

The idea for her first Young Adult novel, Reborn, part of the Reborn Trilogy, came after the unexpected death of her youngest son led her to research and discover the celestial realm of angels.

C. M. Gray graduated from Hertfordshire University with a degree in Journalism, and now lives in Southern California with her five children.
